Figure 1. View of stage from center of the hall. Note the proscenium arch that infringes on a significant portion of the stage’s performance area. This significantly influences the acoustics throughout the hall, even for performances well within the arch.

Figure 2. View of the hall from the stage. There are “arching” beams spanning the width of the hall every five rows of seats. These impact the acoustics of the hall for nearby seats.
