Desireable Reflectograms & Sound Roses (Simple, Rectangular Hall):

Figure 1. Seat at the center of the hall. Reflectogram has nearly a continuous series of spikes. Sound Rose shows sounds coming from all directions and elevations.

Figure 2. Reflectogram & Sound Rose from the same hall closer to the right wall. Reflectogram is more continuous, but the soundrose is not as symmetric.

Undesireable Reflectograms & Sound Roses (Hall with Proscenium):

Figure 3. Seat at the center of the hall. Reflectogram has few spikes with significant space in between. Sound Rose shows sounds coming from only a few directions and elevations.

Figure 2. Reflectogram & Sound Rose from the same hall, seat at the rear of the hall. Reflectogram is thin, and the sound rose is unidirectional with primary sound towards the right ear. The sound is not directly from the source, but from a 2^nd reflection of the original sound. It arrives 0.144 seconds after the sound was produced.
